Hi,
as the title says, XY's Open Command Prompt Here doesn't work anymore (no cmd shell pops up) when put as a custom item in the tree's context menu*.
But:
- in fresh it works
- the corresponding Windows shell context menu item does work though
Any idea what setting/tweak/anything else could be a candidate root cause?
Thanks,
FH
*: for those who work with a locked tree this item would be helpful in the list context menu as well.

No idea on the primary issue, but regarding the footnote, I have CEA_ListRightClickOnWhite=1, and right click on list's white area gives me the parent folder's menu with the CmdPrompt item (I use a hotkey myself though).

Hi Sammay,

Mine is CEA_ListRightClickOnWhite=6, which I will keep. But thanks for the hint.SammaySarkar wrote:... I have CEA_ListRightClickOnWhite=1, ....

Do you have Configuration | Templates | Use custom command line interpreter (else default to cmd.exe) enabled/configured?

Bingo!!! It was set to a wrong path.TheQwerty wrote:Do you have Configuration | Templates | Use custom command line interpreter (else default to cmd.exe) enabled/configured?
Fascinating how good some of you (all of them are admins...) know XY and nearly all of its nut sand bolts.
Cheers,
