Preview Pane Issues

Post by Nozavi »

Hello,

I've recently started using the Preview Pane (Window->Show Preview Pane) and I've noticed that right-clicking a column and deselecting those columns that I don't need is... well, pretty much useless. Those settings aren't remembered, as soon as I change the folder, all the default columns are displayed, instead of the ones I selected earlier.

Furthermore, would it be possible to navigate upwords in an archive? I can open subfolders, but it seems impossible to open parent folders - the back/up arrows change the file's (not the preview's) folder.

Thank you!

And this remembers the preview's columns settings for you? Because for me it doesn't, just for the folder (not the preview pane too)... Am I missing something here?

XY only takes the preview handler of your archiving program (whatever you're using there) to display the content. I guess there can't be much done about displaying / hiding specific columns (permanently) if the preview handler doesn't support it
