Easy way to edit/update catalog items

Is there a way to edit my catalogs in text mode? It seems the catalog.dat file is binary.

I have a bunch of bookmarks in a catalog, which have all changed drives. I'm trying to find an easy way to update all them instead of one by one.

I can get a text listing of the catalog details using SC: catalogreport, but I can't find a way to make any changes and update.

Unfortunately, at this time there is no easy way to achieve this.

There are plans to move from the catalog.dat file to a more accessible format but it will likely still be a while before this happens.
