XYplorer very slow creating folders

XY ver: 16.20.0300
OS ver: win 7 x64

when creating a folder it takes seconds, like ~25secs for it to complete.

I'm on a local LAN at home and have the XYplorer option on startup "to ignore network". Tree and List has "In network locations as well" unchecked.

I tested a few other explorer's and they renamed files and created folders instantly as one would expect.

what do I need to configure correctly so this delay doesn't happen?
