Feature request: respect filesystem symlinks / junctions

Post by aplocher »

Could you please change the behavior (or add an option) to respect symlinks and junctions in the address bar / title bar?

These are supposed to be low-level filesystem "shortcuts" to another directory, but should be (in most cases) completely abstracted away from the user. Every other browse dialog or file explorer for Windows respects these paths (or should, at least).

As you can see, if I type in C:\Source into my Address Bar, then hit enter, it becomes C:\Users\a\OneDrive\Source. This drives me nuts :)

Thank you!

Hit enter, and bam, resolves the junction :(
