Windows photo apps - cannot page through opened photos
Case:
1. In XYplorer in Windows 10, user navigates to a folder with multiple photos, and then double-clicks a photo to open it in the new Windows 10 "Photos" app.
2. User is unable to page between the photos using the forward/backward (next/previous photo) buttons/controls.
If user opens photos from the same folder in a native Windows Explorer folder, user is able to page between the photos.

Thanks, highend.
I tested again with latest beta. Changed the bug report to specify Windows 10 and its Photos app.

I can confirm this behavior. And thank you -- I thought this was a general problem with the photo app in Win10, but I now see that it works properly when launching from Windows Explorer.

Re: Windows photo apps - cannot page through opened photos
What if you right-click a photo and open the photo app via the context menu?

Same problem with the context menu and also when pressing Enter (all 3 methods work as expected in Explorer).

Re: Windows photo apps - cannot page through opened photos
Weird. Unfortunately I cannot do anything since I don't have Win 10.

Well, if you claim to support it, maybe you should get it. I'm surprised you don't have virtual machines for each version that you support.

In case you'd like some virtual machine options:
- Microsoft provides Win 10 VMs for free: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/m ... s/windows/
- (you can read about it here: http://betanews.com/2015/08/18/microsof ... -machines/)
- A lot of places offer very cheap (around $10/mo) remote Windows 10 VPS (for example https://www.solvps.com/windows-vps/)
- You can get licenses for Windows 10 (and a lot of other MSDN software) through Bizspark: https://www.microsoft.com/bizspark

Re: Windows photo apps - cannot page through opened photos
Can confirm the bug is still there in version 19.00.0300. Is there any chance to get it fixed or find a work-around through this?
Re: Windows photo apps - cannot page through opened photos
Probably not in the version you use, as it is - in XY terms - "rather old" and bug fixes are only introduced in current versions, either beta or stable.
You could trial a current version to see whether the bug has been fixed.

Yes, confirmed. Cannot do anything. IMO it's a Windows 10 bug.
