CustColum number of pages stopped working for pdf

I have the free PDF XChange Viewer installed. Below is my setup. It is still working as expected for Word Docs. And it did used to work for PDFs.
I had my laptop rebuilt a couple months back and had to reinstall everything. Is there a setting or something that I'm forgetting, that will allow the PDF number of pages to work?

Actually, nevermind... I thought I'd try re-installing PDF Xchange Viewer. It seemed to fix the problem... I noticed that there as an option during installation to include Extensions (unchecked by default). It could be that I failed to check that option when I installed it last...
