Editing EnvVars

XY has a nice display of EnvVars - but now I am looking for a way to easily edit more vars simultaneously - I'm dreaming of a 3col-grid with category, name & value. Is there perhaps a script to this - or can someone recommend another src for this?

I don't grasp why XY (as a file manager) should manage env variables but instead of using the scripting engine it's much easier to just use:

Was just wondering b- and ecause XY (and the various scripts) offer such a variety of functions, it seemed at least possible. And it would have been waste to then use something else ;-) But RapidEE looks good, thanks! :-)

Nobody said it isn't. Actually I coded it just for fun. But why reinvent the wheel when something more sophisticated already exists...

Remember that editing EnvVars within XY has at least one complication: You have to restart XYplorer (and most everything else) to actually take up the updated environment. And restarting XY from within XY won't help here

Additionally when you want to set system env vars, you have to run setx from an elevated xy instance / from a self elevating .cmd / .bat script
