:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Boolean quick search and /t switch

Post by Pagat »

I'm not sure if i missed something but a boolean search including the /t switch does not work as before anymore. Example (fresh XY): Create a file "New.txt" and assign the tag "cats". Now search for

Code: Select all

New* /t
works as expected.

Code: Select all

New* and tags:cats
works as expected.

Code: Select all

New* and tags:cats /t
Does not work (no results). Stopped working a few weeks ago.

I vaguely remember that some smartness was introduced regarding boolean searches and/or implicit tag-db only searches (so that example 2 automatically only searches the tag-db. But i might be wrong about that). But shouldn't example 3 work nevertheless?
