I have noticed that this list of files are sorted as I would expect in DirOpus:
They sort in this order in XY:
It appears the "-" and "_" are being ignored. I cannot find an option that would influence this. Any help/ideas?
Kind regards,
Gary

Re: Puzzled by file name sort order
XY's sort order is identical to the one in Windows Explorer. I don't have a problem here.

What you found there is interesting. I did not know that. And me too I would have expected the order as shown in your first picture. Does DO have a switch to change it to the other order?

Re: Puzzled by file name sort order
I am unable to locate an option in DO that would influence the sort order. I will continue looking - but as you likely know, finding/setting options in DO is at the least a daunting task.
To add another wrinkle, this is the sort order in Fedora Linux. The best I can get from google is this is a Unicode issue. Beyond me.
