How to add a library or favorite
If I right click a folder and select add to library it opens a new windows explorer screen with the folder i selected in the library tree. But I cannot add a quick link to a folder in the tree in the XYPlorer application. What am I not doing?

Re: How to add a library or favorite
My recommendation is to not use the Windows libraries at all. Within XYplorer adding a favorite folder or file is easy. Add the toolbar button for Favorite Folders (gold star) and right click on it to toggle the currently selected folder as a favorite or use Ctrl-B. Left-clicking on the button will show the list of favorite folders. You can also edit this list manually, as with most XY lists.tim_crouse wrote:If I right click a folder and select add to library it opens a new windows explorer screen with the folder i selected in the library tree. The problem still remains, however, of access to these favorites from within File Explorer Open/Save dialog boxes, etc. I still use a utility called Direct Folders Pro which pops up my custom hierarchical menu of favorites pretty much anywhere with mouse button or key stroke. Unfortunately, the favorites in that menu are not synchronized with my XYplorer favorite folders, plus I'm not sure you can arrange the XY favorite folders hierarchically anyway.
