I just downloaded XYPlorer Free to trial it after giving up on Windows Explorer, but cannot access any of the "My Documents" files on the server.
I have a small office network with several workstations and the files are kept on the server to simplify backing up.
I just installed XYPlorer and it can see and open the files actually on my workstation, but not those residing on the server in my user share. I can see the file tree but not the files.
When I drill down to a specific director holding files, all I get is a yellow triangle informing me that "Location currently not available."
Having said that, I can access files in other drives on the server, just not any in "My Documents".
Can anyone tell me what I need to configure to access my user share "My Documents" directory on our network server?
I've searched for the subject on the XYplorer web site before posting, but couldn't find anything to help me.
Any guidance would be really appreciated.
Cheers,
Joe

Re: Cannot access files on the server
Excuse the late reply, but actually I have nothing good to reply, only that it *should* work, of course. Anybody else here got a tip?
