File association settings

It's only taken me three years to stumble across "Open favorite files directly" (Config > General > Controls and More). I'm thrilled.

And, while playing with that, I set two favorite files to open with Notepad. If — theoretically — I ever needed to change those file association settings, how would I go about it?

Perhaps I should put this another way: Do XYplorer's file association settings operate independently from Windows?

Haha! It only took me two years... to when I stumbled across your post... just now...

I have not yet used XY's "Portable File Associations" aka PFA, but that's the feature you're referring to. Look for it that way in the Help etc.
