How Filter?

Post by SkyFrontier »

I'm having difficulties building a complex pattern that is:
Under folder
c:\Fixed\week
the FOLDERS
Text\Site\HTM
must be always visible, regardless age.
Everything else, files or folders, must be displayed ONLY IF they are
ageMC: w

-if I enter any subfolder via tree, everything will be displayed (=no filter)
-no filter also for anything upper c:\Fixed\week, ie c:\Fixed\, its sibling folders and files.

What and how to use this?
Thanks in advance.

a VF can probably handle this, but
-if I enter any subfolder via tree, everything will be displayed (=no filter)
Was this ever possible that VF applicability depends on how a location is opened?

Only way that I can think of is to have a script running in the background that constantly monitors XY for folder change.
If such occurs then check whether tree has focus and if yes, then turn off any VF.
Not perfect, but maybe a workaround if it is very important.
