But there is no "Groups View" exactly like in Windows Explorer.) Many have complained over it in the forum but many have come over it too. It is a matter of getting used to. Real functionality is not missing regarding this point IMO.

Some words for a first-poster:
XYplorer is not bad. On the contrary, it is very innovative!! XY most probably is among the 2 or 3 most powerful file managers out there (maybe it even IS no.1) but the full power of XY only comes to you if you are a 99% XY nerd. Don (the devoloper and only admin - he just answered you before me) is a little bit TOO much into innovation a little bit to LESS into end-user-friendliness.
Saying, sometimes you get the feeling as if some features and/or their GUI are either only 80% implemented (IMHO - sometimes it is also the help that is lacking/not updated) or implemented in a (for me) confusing way or tailored more to *his* needs (leaving other's possible needs as not so important). It sometimes is very frustrating but one can get almost used to it. On the other hand a lot of things are also brilliant. It is a little bit of an up and down to me.
However, Don, the developer, DOES listen to users wishes, regarding details or new/improved features, not always or all the way, but you do have a direct wire to the developer himself, which is a plus.
The biggest +/- is that I found (and sometimes still find) it hard to find my way around and figure out how to best use all the features. (Of what good are all the cool innovative features if I can't figure out/remember quickly how to use them when I need 'em?! But maybe it is me. Maybe I am simply to dumb for XY.)
That said, even though it is not perfect, I would still recommend it IF you are willing to invest some time into getting to know it. But if you were not willing to do that, then why look for a Windows Explorer-replacement in the first place, right?
And a definite recommendation for the life-time-licence (sometimes there have also been sales, so maybe get the free version and wait for a sale).

And I consider it also a big Plus, that Don (the developer and admin of this forum) does let users like me post (partially) critical posts like this. (Although, I feel he does get upset with me but he still does not delete it, which he easily could as admin. This is not the case in the forum of other file-managers, like the other one shown in the shot at the beginning of this thread. Some post(s) of mine there have been deleted or at least cripple-edited and I was not black-mailing them or anything like this.)

This resizes only the text area.

What you, Chainyk, probably need/want is:
Configuration (F9) -> Preview -> Thumbnails -> Show thumbnails in tiles view (recommend: ticked ON)
If it is ON then you can user-define these 2 sizes (boxes below that point in config) which you can choose from while browsing your files.

Honestly, I did not find a way of how to change the size of the Icon-Tiles only (with thumbnails display OFF).

there are two Icon view modes: small and large. Also the Tiles modes can resize icons.

I'd like a slider that goes all the way from details to the largest thumbnail, but it's not really important.

The original question was: "Tiles: Can you resize them?"
The resizing of tiles (choosing between to custom sizes) only works for me if thumbnails are turned on in tiles view.
Otherwise the tiles always have the same size.

But sure, there is details view, details w/ thumbnails, list, small icons, large icons, small tiles (customizeable w/ thumbs), large tiles (customizeable w/ thumbs), and 3 different customizeable real thumbnail views.

2) Grouping. Although not available, there are several workarounds:

If your concern is not about sorting but selecting, then XY's best alternative are Selection Filters imo. However, nothing beats the single click on a group header.
