is it possible, if not how can I limit search by certain file extensions?

how? I want search for a word in srt files
narrowing search file contents in "srt" files only would be faster than search in all text files, doesn't it?

Maybe *.srt into the Name field? :roll:

On NAME field, you can pass a list like

*.txt;*.ini;*.nfo;*.xys;*.sfv

thus making the search flexible enough to your needs.

I guess you could maybe save the search parameters and put them into a Catalog for quick reuse. Also the different search strings should stay in the history dropdown box...

I have to admin though: An idea like customized file type categories has "Don" written all over it... :wink:
