Click and Search Exclusion

So for click and search, I have one set up for [*.mkv] and it works as expected. However, when making one for [!*.mkv], it does not work at all. However, if I edit the search term from the pink bar thingy, from ["!*.mkv"] (there's a quotation around the pattern) to [!*.mkv], it works as expected. It seems that the quotations are messing it up. Or is there a different way I'm supposed to do it?
