double clicking a folder is not working

Hi,

I just purchased XyPLorer. but I am facing a very annoying problem. It so happens than whenever I am trying to double click a folder to "open" that folder , it is not working, i.e. I cannot navigate to the target directory. Subsequent ( read many double clicks after) the folder suddenly opens . I have checked that there are no background tasks that are running (at least that is what is being displayed in the UI). What's more even the context menu are randomly different (sometimes a different menu appears, while the other times it appears different) when right clicked on the folder.

If it helps I am on a 64 BIT Windows 7. Any help will be well appreciated.
