Paperfolders vs folders in Thumbnail dat2 files

Post by klownboy »

Don, any particular reason why "paperfolders" as specified in the thumbnail "dat2" files are listed as, "paper:Wallpaper\Maine" with no trailing "\" backslash, whereas all other folders are have the trailing backslash. So consequently, paperfolders listed in the "XYthumbs.txt" file also do not have the "\". A <curpath> on a paperfolder, as with other folders does not have the backslash, but I would have thought for consistency with other folders when designated in the thumbnail dat2s file, they too would have a trailing backslash.
Thanks,
Ken

PFs are pseudo paths. "paper:Wallpaper\Maine\" would not work anywhere in the app.

No problem Don. The only reason I asked is because both paperfolders and real folders have no trailing backslash when displayed via "<curpath>" yet in the thumbnail dat2 files real folders have the trailing backslash and the paper ones don't. In reality the paperfolders are referring to text files so it's not a problem that a little scripting can't resolve. Thanks.
