Pinstriped Lists
I think it would be nice if every other listed file was displayed on a differently coloured background. I mean alternating every other line, sort of like iTunes does. It would certainly help for people with ultra-wide monitors!

I'd also point our new user to http://88.191.26.34/XYwiki/index.php/Configuration where in 'Colors', this option is also described...
The wiki is a great source of info as it often has more text and examples than could be done in Help...check it out!
