PDF not displaying with "Mouse Down Blow Up on Icons"

With version 14.50, it's new feature called "Mouse Down Blow Up on Icons" works for everything that I've tried except PDFs. I can see PDFs in the preview of the "Info Panel". Any ideas?

It works for some and not others unfortunately.
