Folders Will Not Sort

Hello... I have searched for an answer to my problem, but cannot find one.

The issue is any folders in any pane do not respond to any type of sorting. (However, any individual files within a pane whether or not folders also exist DO respond as expected.) This behavior has never occurred previously and I had not made any changes to sorting preferences before this started.

I have tried different sort preferences and closing and re-opening XYplorer, but this does not help. What I would like to do is be able to once again sort any folders and files by selecting any of the properties tabs (file size, create date, name, etc.).

Any constructive assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the club, flamingo.

What you have to do is: Open the configuration dialog.
Choose "sort and rename" from the left sidebar, then UNcheck "sort folders always descending".
That's it.

I must have inadvertently re-set my configuration settings to "freeze" folders. It was driving me crazy.
