TreeExpansionIcon

No comment on the new triangles? I first found them a joke, but after only 12 hours I got used to them and start to even like them...

Square outlines and triangles don't match.
The triangles alone (without TPT) look good though.

They look great imo, but

This. And I can't think of another "node block" that would look ok with triangles inside.

So how do I get the new look? I've installed 14.40.004 and I don't get the new flat look, I still have control borders and my tree expansion icons are still + signs instead of triangles.

Thanks,
Jeff

EDIT: I assumed that because the new flat look was the "default UI in Windows 8" that the style would appear automatically. Apparently not. It seems I have to go in to the Configuration settings and create it piece by piece. Further, it seems the only way to get the triangles is to tweak the .ini file. Isn't there a "big button" way to save or apply a theme that accounts for all the bits and pieces?

I like the triangles though they may look even better if the background for triangles was round instead of square.

definition of the term "tweak" around here: getting your hands, text editor rather, dirty.

It would be worth trying the circles to see if they look better than squares, but I have to say that I think the squares look just fine. The triangles in the squares are actually easier to interpret and are easier on the eyes than the plus signs were.

Cheers,
Jeff
