Hi,
Instead of proceeding with the regular install of XYplorer on the system C:\Program Files (x86)\XYplorer, could I install a portable XYplorer in C:?
If yes, would there be any disadvantages in comparison to the regular install?
To accomplish the portable install in C: would the steps be the same as to install in an USB stick?
Thanks in advance,
Carlos

- You could
- No (at least I can't see any)
- As long as you just use the .zip file for the portable version, no

Re: Installing portable XYplorer on the computer
I think the difference are just different access rights for the file system - especially c:\Program Files\* has special rights here.
Rights of c:\somewhat will not be the same.
Dependent what you want this may be good or may be bad
Or you can change them
