Delete folder & XYplorer jumps to root

Post by jedT »

Hi all,

Say i have folders 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d (all coming off the root c:\). If I delete folder 1c program then takes me to c:\ whereas Windows Explorer takes me to folder 1d. Question is can XYplorer be setup to take me to folder 1d if I delete folder 1c?

If folders 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d are sub folders of c:\ABC and I delete folder 1c, program takes me to c:\ABC but I would like it to goto c:\ABC\1d

I have googled this and hit F9 Configuration file but cannot see any option to fix me up. Using latest version.

cheers

You haven't stated wether you refer to the tree or the list. Anyway, have you tried the options highlightet in my shot?

Hi Filehero,

You rock!! :appl:

In the config file I was looking for the option mainly in the 'File Operations' section

Now I can set it up EXACTLY how I want :appl:

cheers,
Jed

Yes, I'm pretty sure about that .... just take some days off and you'll likely have met every single option and tweak.

Seriously, XY is extremely configurable, sometimes it is really a challenge to remember all those configs.
