how to auto expand dest node in mini tree?

in the config there is a setting called "Expand destination node in tree".
the help file says that it does not work in the mini tree but only in the maxi one.

Q: Is there a way, maybe a tweak (i looked but couldn't find any), to make it also work in mini tree??

No, there is none. It would be totally against the idea of the mini tree.

not if you auto-expanded only the folders, that would also be auto-expanded when +clicked manually.
and together with auto-optimize it would anyway always be small neat and tidy.

but never mind, I have accepted the facts.
therefore I have another something that I can write a script for.
