Forum - Chaging title of a topic according to development

Post by Marco »

I noticed in the last week the tendency to prepend the title of a topic with [Fixed], [Granted], [Solved] and similar after a question has been answered successfully or a bug fixed.
Should this become a rule here?

Maybe not a rule, but a highly encouraged suggestion, I'd say...it does help to see status w/o having to read thread and it is the rule on some forums I've used in past but we have some who are not that familiar with forum software/usage it seems so trying to force it may not work always.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

Gotcha. Maybe a sticky could help, even if Don would be reluctant?

I leave that to the moderators. :)

PS: There is a problem with this. It needs to be done 100% otherwise all non-tagged issue appear implicitly non-solved. And since 99.9% of all issues are solved in this forum, it would be more economical to tag the unsolved ones. And it would be even more economical to skip the whole tagging business, and play guitar or something. :)
