keyboard shorcut to open XY ???

Hello,
I did not find on this forum if it is possible to have in windows, a keybord shortcut to open XYplorer.
For example, when I press <WIN + E> I open the windows explorateur.
How can I open XY with a keybord shorcut ?

Hi bergay,

welcome to the XY community.

Yes, there is a way. Pin XY to the left of Windows Task Bar (to work, it must cover task bar icons #1-#10). Then, you could start XY simply by pressing <WIN>+<task bar icon number>. In my setup, the XY-icon is the first on the task bar, so <win>+<1> always opens XY.

I did not understand...if i have XY shortcut on left taskbar i don't have tab property...where assign win+ (#1-#10)??

If it's the left most taskbar icon, just press <win>+<1>, the assignment is there by default.
Note: I have no idea wether this works with XP as well.

Windows assigns the shortcuts according to the position of the pinned item on your taskbar (next to the start button).
