Three catalog wishes:

Three wishes:

1) Edit the catalog in editor mode.
This could enable fast copying/duplicating items in the catalog.

or - and...?

2) A new entry on the ctx menu called Duplicate which duplicates the selected catalog item. Then its easy to drag the new item to destination.

3) The ability to choose another icon to a catalog item then the default retrieved from the shell. Let say you have created a catalog item w. filter like: Desktop|!*.* ...today it have no icon :-(

Sorry to bug you with all these wishes ;-)

Looking thru unanswered threads...found this...

Ugus, what parts of request are still valid and which have been addressed?
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

I had a similar request to Don but he said its not possible

You can hold ctrl key and drag any item in catalog to duplicate it.

This was recently requested by another user and i agree that icons do help a lot in identifying. But on other hand thats why there is coloring feature in catalog.

Duplicate in ctx menu will come in 7.10.
Custom icons... might come as well.
