I am puzzled about this and I have no idea. Sometimes Xyplorer would just disappear in the backgroud without giving me any error or crash sign :( I never had issues like this with single pane.
The previous crashes were caused by bad written 3rd party shell extensions. This is fixed and won't come back.

This is the first time I hear about DP related crashes, and actually I don't think they are DP related. I don't see any crashes here at all. I need a way to reproduce such a crash else no chance to look into it.

Mysterious crashes are back again. For some reason I have been getting sudden disappearance of XYplorer in last couple betas and including that latest 8.60.0100 release. They all feel like the previous disappearances. Things that might have to do with windows right click menu maybe no idea. I know some say that right click crashes are resulting from the right click apps but the thing is that why would XYplorer crash from something it has nothing to do with itself then?

I had my first right-click crash today -- v 8.60. I wasn't aware of doing anything unusual -- just suddenly XY was gone...

Nothing useful to help with debugging -- just corroboration that something strange happened...

These crashes also happen with v8.60.0104 or later?

I see 2 possible reasons:
- drag'n'drop
- file info tips (you can turn them off on configuration for testing this hypothesis)

I had really a lot of crashes in the last month, about once an hour. Mostly when hovering over the context menu, but sometimes even when XYplorer was in the background. My solution was to completly remove XYplorer, including all configuration data, and reinstall using the installer package. Since then it seems to work fine. Formerly i used to copy the beta build over the installed version, which i'll avoid in the future.

I don't see a possible connection with installing over the previous version. Probably one of your config files (*.INI, *.DAT) was corrupted.

However, whenever I hear "Random crashes" this gets top priority for me because it's the last thing I want to hear. So if you can tell me more about those crashes and how to make them...

If it happens again and you remember anything (which file(s), which list mode), let me know...

If you find the file, you can send it to me: I might even find a bug.

Unfortunatly, i'm a sophisticated file deleter. ;-)
I left not traces, but if the problem happens once again, i know what to do. Thanks.
