Hi, great effort, Flux. Many thx. Discovered Akelpad now. Great tool.

Question: Is there a(n Akelpad-)script that will (semi-)auto-update the Akelpad-XYS-Syntax file?
If not, would anyone want to write it?

One could make use of this script to inject new commands to the .coder file, (or probably easier: rebuild eveything).

Thanks for the feedback about the syntax highlighter; and ditto about the invisible script!

⏵ So I updated the former to XYplorer v17.10.
⏵ And the latter too, so it’s less stressful to use on a modest computer.

Because this script was enough that I’d forgotten to update it with my two-years-old revision (with the dialog instead of the wait)…

I’d totally forgotten script inclusion/injection even existed in XY!
So, I think it’s only logical to also associate the syntax with “inc” too…

might be a bit intrusive since inc is a very common extension used in many programming lingos?

I had the instinct this bell would ring…
And since there was no urge, I was waiting for some (in)validation.
So, two votes against: xyi stays, inc goes!

Just updated the file to XYplorer v17.40 (file and configuration tips in first post).

Main changes:
 — switch structure (w/ case+default)
 — popupnested command
 — update command
 — enhanced autocomplete of quicksearch with list of fields (name: path: cont: size: lbl: …) and more switches (/t Tag database | /T Tag terms… | /types=(Text|Image…)
 — *.xyi default support

Thank you for your work on this. And I thought I was fairly happy with simple syntax highlighting, and rather out of date at that.
