I am getting errors, as well. Version 27.90.0040 (64-bit).
I select multiple files, right-click, then choose "Rename with PowerRename" (a PowerToys tool). The error "Error: -2147467259: Automation error" appears, then PowerRename pops up, but then PowerRename does not function correctly.

Did it work with the 64-bit menu in the 32-bit XYplorer?

Re: XYplorer64 TB v28.00.0002 - Right click causes constant crashes.
I am getting the crashes again. This time it seems to be repeatable. Here are my steps:
1. I am clicking a folder as if to rename, then copy the name.
2. Then I click my toolbar button to search using last clipboard entry.
3. Search works and displays Tab. Selecting all items, except folders, then copy or cut causes a 2-3 second freeze and then a crash.
4. I also tried using Ctrl+X at stage 3, same result. Happens every time. Currently tried seven times.
EDIT: Just tested a few times using Ctrl+C and Mouse copy, both also cause crash every time.

Selecting items with mouse drag and hold left button.
Can add a gif if it helps?
Sorry, I forgot to add the Copy/cut was the cause of the crash, not selecting! I amended my post above.
EDIT: Just restarted PC, still crashes.

This hasn't got to do anything with a right-click, right? So you should better open a new thread.

if you wish then yes, I will do that by reposting my recent issue in a new topic, seems a bit pointless to me? But.. ok, I'll do that then.

Re: XYplorer64 TB v27.90.0020 - Right click causes constant crashes.
Just to let you know that I still get these crashes on Right Click.
It seems to mainly happen when the system has been in Hibernate and then use R-click. Most of the time there is a Beta Update available too, so I am unsure if one or the other causes it or maybe a combination of the two perhaps?
I have a button for checking updates:
I have this script run on startup via CEA:
That's about all I have right now.

Re: XYplorer64 TB v27.90.0020 - Right click causes constant crashes.
I am having the same issue.
XYplorer 64-bit 28.00.0500 windows 11.
This version seems to be extra buggy. Many freezes and crashes.
When i right-click a folder in the folder tree, the app hangs for a second then crashes and exits. After restarting it, I can right-click the same item with no trouble. Later, in the same session, right-clicking it again crashes.
