Actually I'm not sure about the delay now. Is there some acceleration applied if you're moving the mouse or closer to the edges? I seem to be seeing it scroll faster to the left than the right, but perhaps it's just me needing to adjust.

I'll think about some acceleration...

Well I wasn't suggesting there be acceleration, I was wondering if it was in place and might explain why I seem to scroll faster to the left than right.
