Yes, like it too. Has a good rhythm and the good ol' alliteration doesn't hurt. Only the "file manager" is missing...

Then the natural next step would be
The Power-Packed, Portable file manager

Yes, but it lacks the rhythm and is a bit too long.

So exactly why couldn't it be made into two lines? Such as:
A file manager:

It's pretty hard to come up with a catchy and descriptive "Slogan" with a limit of 25 characters. :p
I'm guessing that anyone reading such a "slogan" is gonna be fully aware that they are in the realm of a File Manager so maybe that can be excluded/omitted. ... dunno!
So .... in relation to another comment about a new user maybe expecting Dual Pane ( ... a reason I can't take XYplorer seriously or use it as my default File Manager ... but I live in hope :p )

I do think that some key words work but they can never provide the truth! For me I would, if you must have a short set of words, go with 'XYPlorer- the total solution' and then immediately follow up with say 3-4 lines to justify this eg.
- covers every file mangement task
- easy for beginners
- sophisticated for experts
- portable for convenience
Whilst here, I have now found a little time to explore scripts - help!
It is not the complexity, actually they seem very logical and easy to construct. It is the vast amount of change in such a short time that is traumatic. Don, take a breather, gives us time to learn.
I do think the learning solution is best with a set of example scripts, not the clever ones that experts need but those that cover a typical set of scenarios. The syntax and construction is not difficult but understanding what is to be included to achieve results may not be obvious to all new-comers.
Thanks, great introduction to power file management.

I'm currently writing a big new chapter for the homepage
"Introducing XY7" where you will have lots of examples for UDC and Scripting.

I currently favor this slogan: Programmable & Portable It has strong and valid content and raises curiosity, doesn't it?
