I have just checked. For me, the Path style looks a bit more natural, but Triangle is also ok. I would vote for both.admin wrote:his is because I'm unsure which style is
better (or take both, or what), so I need an opinion.

Re: Clickable breadcrumbs.
If triangles won't serve to display eventually subfolders or even files like address bar does, I'd pick "path" because it saves space.
Request: better ellipsing logic.
Currently:
C:\Documents and Settin...\Administrad...\Configurações locais\Application Da...\Micros...\CD Burni...\
Ideal:
C:\Docum...Settings\Administrador\Confi...locais\Appli...Data\Microsoft\CD Burning\
Rule: longer itens (up to X letters) must be trimmed at (user defined? 5th letter; last item (up to X letters?) will be preserved; single items (up to X letters) will be preserved.
If a single tab is open on pane 1 or 2, the whole tab line could optionally vanish until CTRL+T opens a second tab. Reason: save space. Doable? I doubt...

Re: Clickable breadcrumbs.
So bread crumbs are not going to be in the address bar?

Re: Clickable breadcrumbs.
Please only answer the Triangle question. I still have a large list of things to do, currently no need for ideas.

Re: Clickable breadcrumbs.
I like them both, too. So I guess I'll make it configurable.

Thanks so far.

Re: Clickable breadcrumbs.
this oppinion probably doen't matter already, but i see triangle more suitable for second line(like now) and slashes for trafromable AB -so not like options, but like parts of different realisations.

Triangles. Slashes would make it difficult to get a droppable list.
