Hmm. Obviously folders are not connected to Explorer as associated app on your system.tekNerd wrote:On my comp if i CTRL+ENTER a folder it apears the "Imposible open the file" window (the one when there is no program asociation to some file[extension]). This is weird 'cause it's a folder not a file. On files works great!

Re: Slow delete problem
Here it uses Open all the time!jacky wrote:First, there are 2 "commands" for folders: open & explore. If I select more than 1 folder and press enter, XY uses the "open" command. That's good. But if I use Ctrl+Enter (open focused) then it uses "explore", that's not good I think, should be "open" here too. (or "explore" al the time if you want since it's the default one, but same command for both actions)
Forget it, it's not possible. And please, use the Wishes section for wishes.jacky wrote:Now let's say we got that fixed, what I did was usig "XYplorer.exe %L" (%L being the folder's path) But then another instance(s) of XYplorer is launched!I don't want that, I want XY to open the folder(s) in new tab(s) instead.

That'd be awesome

Not here.surrender wrote:Slow delete problem.
General answer: I suggest you always keep a previous "good" version of XY BETA before you try the new. In cases like surrender's or CyGho's you can quickly recheck with the old version and verify whether the issue is connected to the new version or to something else.

Re: Slow delete problem
No problem with slow deletes here.

nope, works fine for me, whether I "really" delete it or send it to the bin, it's fast.surrender wrote:Just try creating a new folder and press delete. it takes abt 20 seconds to delete that.
Slow delete problem
I just downloaded the new version 4.40.0026. The mentioned features are cool. But one little thing. Just try creating a new folder and press delete. it takes abt 20 seconds to delete that. same if you right click and delete. but dragging to recycle bin deletes it in a flash. i can say for sure this was not the same in previous versions. does anyone has the same problems?? I use Winxp SP2 on my laptop, with 2.5Ghz CPU and 640mb ram.
