can be used for moving backwards and forwards in the history.
Beware, it's aircode! Those having XButtons, please test!!
I have a Logitech MX700 cordless optical mouse and unfortunately the back/forward buttons don't work with v4.40.0064.
 Where can you click those buttons in Explorer? Anywhere or above certain controls (tree, list...)?
Windows Explorer catches the click of the buttons literally anywhere...list, tree, toolbar, titlebar, statusbar, etc. Performs the same action irregardless of where the click occurs.

I also have a GE optical mouse that I bought at Best Buy; the back/forward buttons don't work with that mouse either.

I can definitely understand the need to have some features only in prof vers, but as one who has tried this feature, and who will also thus get a down-grade via this change, I'd suggest: Allow free users to set/retain, maybe two entries in list max, but retaining more would be only in prof.
Yep, that's even better :D

NO!!! That starts PSPad!!. Ctrl+Alt are no use to me since I use all of them for starting Windows applications. I'll investigate if I can use an AutoHotkey script to solve it (Ctrl+Alt and AltGr are regarded as different keys in AutHotkey) before I ask you to change it. That is, if there are any keys left!!

Download the latest XYplorer BETA version (v4.40.0063, 27-jan-2006).

Code: Select all

v4.40.0063 - 27.01.06 09:54
    + New keyboard shortcut:
        Ctrl+Alt+P (= AltGr+P): Open Command Prompt Here
+ Added close tab on middle mouse click. Works on foreground and
      background tabs.
    * Revised professional-license-only features: under the free home
license you can try out the following features to full extent but
your settings won't be remembered between sessions.
      - Toolbar Customization
      - Color Filter
    * Find Files, Results to tab: when you choose "Results to tab Search
results" and a new "Search results" tab is auto-created it will now
also be auto-locked upon creation! Thus it stays the "Search
results" tab as long as you don't unlock it, or rename it, or close
      it.

Download the latest XYplorer BETA version (v4.40.0061, 25-jan-2006).

Code: Select all

v4.40.0061 - 25.01.06 09:56
! When you moved or copied items from a search results list to an
excluded folder located within the search subtree then the items
now in the excluded folder showed up in the refreshed find
results, which they should not. Fixed.
+ Menu Edit: added command "New Shortcut...": displays the Create New
Shortcut dialog. Completing the dialog creates a shortcut at the
      current location.
+ Address bar: if a destination is currently hidden (it has a HIDDEN
attribute AND you don't show hidden items), you are told so now and
      don't go nowhere.
The non-reachable destination will, however, be printed to the
bar's edit field. so that you can work with it, or change the
hidden option and then try another jump to it.

Yes, everybody: bugs should not go here but to the Bugs Reports forum!
So you are saying that there should be no posts in this Forum other than announcements of a new Beta version ?
General comments or questions concerning the last BETA are ok. But bugs and wishes should go to their respective forums because often longish discussions arise...
