Thanks for the reply, Filehero.

If you are telling me to untick the box, I did that but still no right click items.

Any other idea?

Hi jadinolf,

yes, tick/check it to make it reappear in the file context menu.

Or, if it doesn't help you'll need to provide a more detailed dexription of the problem.

Do you have the 64-bit menu permanently active (under Shell Integration > 64-bit Windows)? If yes, you have deactivate it in order to get back the XY context menu as default.

Xyplorer in Shell Context Menu is unticked.

Below 64 Bit Windows
Show real Syst 32 Directory and Show the 64 Bit Context Menu is ticked.

One side effect of having Show the 64-bit context menu enabled is that you lose XYplorer's custom items in the context menu.

+++ Configuration | Shell Integration: Added option "Show 64-bit
context menu". Tick it to show the 64-bit shell context menu
instead of the 32-bit shell context menu.
      Notes:
      - The shell context menu is the menu you see when you right-click
files or folders. Here so-called shell extensions can place
custom commands that extend the Windows native commands. But
there is a drawback: On 64-bit Windows, 32-bit applications only
show 32-bit shell extensions, and 64-bit applications only show
        64-bit shell extensions.
Now XYplorer offers you the best of both worlds: You can pop the
32-bit context menu AND the 64-bit context menu, whatever you
        prefer!
      - The option is only offered under 64-bit Windows (it would be
        meaningless under 32-bit Windows).
      - The functionality is provided by the helper file
ContextMenu64.exe which has to be located in the path of
XYplorer.exe. The new download packages contain this file.
      - The 64-bit context menu will not contain any of XYplorer's
custom items in the shell context menu.
      - If you leave the new option unticked then the 32-bit context
menu (in Tree and List) will offer an extra command "Show 64-bit
Context Menu" by which you can open the 64-bit context menu on
the fly. That way you can have XYplorer's custom items in the
context AND quick access to the 64-bit context menu.
      - Last not least, credits and a big thanks for designing and
writing ContextMenu64.exe go to "Mesh" (from XY Beta Club)!
So to get them back you must...
Enable: Custom items in shell context menu (Menus, Mouse, Safety - Context Menus)
Ensure Move/Copy/Backup To is checked in the Folder Tree... and/or File List... dialogs which Filehero pointed out.
And disable: Show the 64-bit context menu (Shell Integration - 64-bit Windows)

You can still pull up the 64-bit context menu by selecting "Show 64-bit context menu" from the item's context menu.

Thanks Filehero. that did it.

The interesting thing is I cannot believe I would have ticked it since I don't remember even visiting that area.

I don't think my dog did it.

TheQwerty, thank you very much for the education. I really appreciate it. Thanks to "Mesh" and anyone else who has contributed to this fine program.

I have 4 64 bit computers which I built myself but I am far from being really knowledgeable with computers. I am just an 80 year old grandfather who likes playing with computers.

Thanks all. :D

Silly me, I email David about losing the special move/copy/backup to context menu and he replies to post to the forums. Guess I soulda looked here first.

But curious why it gets lost when checking off the 64bit context menu?
