Well, now startup (time needed from zero to xy window open and initialized) is as fast as closing XY (time needed from ....).

Big difference when I goto a folder with A LOT of files, the List populate almost instantly now. In the past, it take 2~3 sec to load up.

The difference is well visible on my computer: i7 3770k, 16gb ram and HDD's 4tb.
How did it happen

Hmm, I really did not expect that much of a difference! Are you sure? And it's just startup that I changed a little, not listing any folder afterwards.

I have a folder with 1500 videos, auto-size colum on. XY used to take 2~3 sec to populate the List (completely freeze up during that time) when I first visit that folder, afterward, it display instantly.
Now, even the first visit is instant.

Even faster!
Considerable shorten in XY start-up! XY used to get >1sec but now, "Loaded in: 355 ms". Unbelievable!
goto big folder is instant too.

No scientific measurement done, but: still as fast as closing (when the focused folder is winsys_tmp).

Whenever XY is lagging on my machine I meanwhile strongly suspect the antivirus to be the bottleneck.

With those of you guys, who experience differences in speed (even though it is better for you) could it have anything to do with your antivirus?

I have no antivirus, but sometime XY start-up instantly, sometime, it hangs 3-4 sec on statup. Weird
