preview of MS Word documents: selecting by words and lines

The smallest unit to be selected for copying etc. when viewing any MS Word document in the preview panel is now a whole paragraph. It is not very convenient, when I need to copy into clipboard one ore several words only.
Is it very difficult to let an user to select by mouse a text fragment word by word or line by line?

I would not say "very" but it is difficult, especially automatic scrolling of the text while dragging the pressed mouse is a challenge.
Generally, as you will have noticed, all the "big" interface elements in TrackerV3, like the treeview, listview, fileview, tabstrip are not the Microsoft controls everybody uses, but hand-tailored custom versions by myself. This strategy gives me unlimited power, but at a price: a lot of work.
What you wish here is on my personal wish list since long, but hey, there's always so much to do and so little time...
