Why 'comment' field in XY differs the windows one?

XYplorer and the windows original file explorer both have a 'comment' field, but it seems that they have different contents.
eg. I input the comment in a file property dialog, this comment will show in windows comment field but not show in XYplorer 'comment' field'.
Why? and how to let XYplorer show the comment content the same as in a file property dialog?

Because they're 2 different things.
XY comment is stored in <xypath>\tag.dat, which is simply a text file record whatever Label/Tag/Comment you do BY XYPLORER,
Windows comment is handle and stored by Windows system

XY can show the Windows comment in the File Info Tip (when you hover a file name). But not yet in a column. The latter is planned for a future version.

For all practical purposes, XY's way is superior than Windows because now the XY can be easily portable.
All my file/folder comments, in English or Chinese, are stored in XY, not via Windows.
Besides being portable, you can search XY comments faster than Windows'.

No, the windows Way is more portable as the comments are stored with the file unlike XY where it is saved in separate centralised file.

But the XY way has far more benefits than the Windows way.

You would usually comment, tag files that you want to make stand out and the XY way allows you to search these files very quickly. This would take lots of time with the Windows way. And I am not taking into consideration the files commented on Network drives/external drive.

The centralised way has an added benefit. You can open up the file and see if the commented file is on some external drive and plug in.

Is there any way or script to sync XY's comment and windows comment to make them the same?
