To be fair, I don't know of any other piece of software that I use so frequently where I could simply jump on the forum, ask a question, and get a response from the lead dev within hours. :)
I develop scripts that integrate media functionality into Xyplorer.
Hash - Twitch.tv in VLC (NEW 2.0!) - FFmpeg GUI - Youtube downloading

And it's only hours usually when yoi ask Don while he's sleeping or AFK...otherwise, it can be within an hour or less which I agree is EXTREMELY unusual! I've often said that Don gives better response to bugs than anti-virus folks respond to new threats!
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

There's also an issue of bureaucracy. They spent more time dealing with the uppers and as a result, bug fixing or bug finding ended up getting delayed until the upper says yes. Here, we don't have any of that. It's just Don and us. Plus the fact that Don is passionate and cares for the users, it's a lot different.
