Place shortcur in StartUp folder problem+more

Post by theoldman »

Hi.
Running Windows XP Pro sp3 on 4 core with nVidia graphics. All new drivers and codecs loaded.
I am runnng out of the trial period so I have to make this quick.
1.
I want XYplorer 6.5.1 to have a shortcut in Windows 'StartUp' folder, so when Windows boots it will be in memory and an Icon will be available in the Windows 'Task Bar' (bottom line of screen). Earlier version 6.5.0 worked ok, but 6.5.1 loads it into memory but suddenly stopped placing Icon in 'Task Bar'.
2.
Switch 'Spell Check ON'.
Scrool up a few lines on a text file. Spell check 'word pointer' will not allow a line to be highlited and move that line from that point. Stat at the very first character of line and see.Hold left mouse button and try to drag to the right to highlite line.
Hope you can solve these.
All the best.

Now, I'm pretty sure you're talking about Notepad++, which is currently at version 6.5.1!!

That's a funny post.

OOps 'Spell Check' was for NotePad++ pages. Sorry about that. Go mixed up.
The first part for the 'Windows Startup' is for Xyplorer'. My trial time has just ended, so I have to save up for a while to get a proper version. Its worth checking through even in the newer versions.
All the best.
