:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Tab names change colour depending on name length.

Several tabs open, some with long folder names, and a filter applied to all tabs. If the name is long enough to need to be truncated it changes colour to the colour used for the filter. Certain lengths even result in the name changing colour when the tab is selected (because the text changes to bold)!

Yes, this is actually a feature. It happens when there is not enough space to show both location and filter in the tab header. It tells you that this tab is filtered even when you cannot see the filter in the header.

O.K. I see I missed that in the history for v5.10.0015. It just took me by surprise and I thought it was a bug.

You won't be the only one. It's an indicator that the "feature" needs to be improved...

Or just simply better described and/or documented! I think the function works fine...when I tried it out a while back to see how it worked, it made sense to me....

I'd add a Help file blurb about it in both "Color Filters" and "Tabbed Browsing" sections as they seem most related to it...
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.
