That's Dual Pane pal,
they're 2 different folders showing in 2 panes
Pane > Dual

Oh! Sorry. It's my another senior moment.
I've been using vertical dual panes since day one.
I forgot the dual panes can be configured horizontally.
Thanks binocular222.

I can see that I am not the only one who likes the CrumbNavSep tweak :)

Yes, I prefer decent visual clues - this is where the contemporary "flat" approach excels in.
.... and some day XY will become completely unbevelized I hope.

Wow that looks... I don't know. I really like how it feels like a book and quite relaxing. I would definitely not say it's professional looking but everything about it feels warm...

"moemoe". What? You into moe?

Everybody has their own ideas as to what XY should incorporate. People are already salavating over Custom Columns.

The above screen shots are intriguing. Me thinks "Skins" added to The XYplorer Roadmap would be a killer feature if ever there was one :!:

The WindowBlinds theme named Brilliance. The Brilliance skin for the brilliant XYplorer. Sounds complementing, huh?

WindowBlinds is a nice visual style changer for Windows OS. The new version 8 aimed for Windows 8 is not that expensive nowadays, only about 10 US dollars. It was cut off due to the disposal of Start menu. In regard to polishing XYplorer, it plays role in changing the frame and color of XYplorer toolbar. I still have to adjust the color of the Tree and List to my preferences manually (if I want to).

I can turn the XYplorer into like this

this

or this

Each may have its upside and downside.
Now, is there any from above fall into your category of "professional" look?

As to "moemoe", you are so right about that. :kidding: While a sweet cake is so-called nutrition for the heart, moe stuffs are nutrition for the eyes. Seeing moe stuffs are good for eyes' health, especially an old geezer's eyes. Take note that I am not an old geezer, though.

After arrival of centered list it's time for a new shot. Having sticky favorites to the right is indispensable, godsend, simply natural. :ugeek:

Here's my usual setup. With a custom skin I generated recently.
I don't use the tree, it's there just to provide some sense of depth to <curpath>. But mostly it works as a seperator between the list and screen border :D

The icons are mostly from a set called gentleface.

How did you get these icons in there? Need that, want that...
Maybe you can even use bigger ones than the original size?

I know how to get custom icons on CTB buttons, but not how to replace the default ones that come with XY - cannot find an icon folder. I am sure I had asked this question a year ago, but back then it was not possible. So how'd you do it?

<hint>enter the exe</hint>
edit-add: nope, icons come in 24 &16 only
But hold on, I'm creating some more icon themes (yes, for the default btns :D ). You might get a re-skinning script any day...

Thanks for your hint - way beyond my means, though, wouldn't know how to get into the exe, let alone replace something in there. Guess I better wait for your script - :D
