Applying a visual filter globally?

Post by highend »

Is there any option to apply a specific visual filter for all tabs (regardless if they are already existent or new) globally?

E.g.: I want to use this one: "" !"$recycle.bin"|"system volume information"

Turning off
View - Show items - Show system files and folders

isn't an option...

Yuo know why I hesitate: People will forget about their global VF and then write me letters about missing files. :)

I'll answer them all!

Aren't there any possibilites to make such a global vf more visible (italic font, color, a small box around a tab, etc.)?

There is already an indicator on the tab when visual filters are in effect.
I want XY to serve soft ice cream. Please Don, make XY serve soft ice cream.

That's for the non-global VF.

No, I don't see a good way for this currently.
