right-click on list

Post by chrisM@paris »

Hi,

If I select a row in the list and I right-click on the name column of a new row, the new row is selected and I can apply the menu option to it. If I do the same with the tags/comment/label columns, the new row is not selected and the menu options are applied to the current selected row. It is a bit confusing. Is there a tweak to change this behavior?

Hi and welcome,

there is even a setting for this:
Configuration | Tags | Apply tagging to all selected items

Thanks Don!

It works better but then we lose the capability to apply a label to all selected rows which is also a very useful feature.

So how would you like it to work?

Can we mimic the right-click behavior we have with the other columns (name, ext...) of the List?

- Several rows selected and right-click on the selected rows then the menu option is applied to the selected rows.
- Several rows selected and right-click on a new row then the new row is selected and the menu option is applied to the new selected row.

OK, understood. But not very soon. My concentration now is busy in other areas.
