Column view

Even though I am a PC guy, I've noticed a handy way of browsing folders on Mac. There is an option in Finder (default file manager) called "Column view".

This allows for quick and clear navigating through complex folder structures.
I think it would be neat to be able to switch a similar feature on in XYplorer. It could possibly be done by modifying the Branch view.

What do you guys think?

I'm quite sure this has been talked about befere here but quite some time ago...most likely in conjuction with how to do improved breadcrumbs...haven't taken time to search for prior threads/posts.

I think "tree path tracing" in the tree yields the same info for me as the column view shown but wastes no screen space at all.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Tree path tracing is cool, but the tree only displays folders and not the files contained in them, which is a big concern.
Can you somehow make all files visible in the tree?

No, files are never displayed in the tree in XY, but you might wanna check out branch view to see all files and folders under a certain node.
