:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Hmm--my mistake. Looks like it's on my end. I tried clean copies of latest and a 10.7 and they crash. Does the config toolbar dialog depend on any particular fonts installed? Installed something that uninstalled a bunch of fonts several days ago. Can't think of any other changes..

Well, this is really perplexing. Tried in safe mode and "customize toolbar" still crashes XY, although it pauses for several seconds then crashes silently instead of crashing right away with "XY.. has stopped working" as in normal mode. Haven't done any Windows updates or changed anything major. I know this is all on my end, but I would really appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to track this down. Thanks.

Currently I have no ideas nor the time to add debugging to locate it. Just to say something...

This is still a problem on my machine. Has anything been done about it?

Gateway P5WS5
Xyplorer 12.70.0000 running as admin
Windows 7 SP1 running as 64-bit O/S

I right-click on the toolbar and left-click on "toolbar customize" and the screen goes white and xyplorer freezes. This appears to be permanently repeatable.

Could you send me your XYplorer.ini file by email (email is shown here: http://www.xyplorer.com/support.htm).

Yeah, I'm getting that too and it only happens on my Windows 7 machine and it happens with every version of XYplorer. This sucks, especially since this is the laptop I need to use right now and the source for this program doesn't seem to have a clue either, nor the time to look for the problem. Actually, don't know if that last is still true. . . just repeating what he said earlier in this thread. . . something about;

"Currently I have no ideas nor the time to add debugging to locate it. Just to say something..."

I know an intermittent problem on a computer is the hardest thing to locate but this is repeatable on my machine like it was hardware not software. Anyway, I don't know what the problem is but have to keep trying. I don't have a choice unless I change programs.

I cannot explain it. It does not happen on my machines nor on most other users' machines. Something must be special about your system. Any idea what that could be?
