Minor glitch in text floating preview

Latest fresh beta.
If you try writing a text file in UTF8 with BOM with an external editor and then preview it XY, you'll see a little artifact on the first letter.

Sounds unlikely. Is the decoding correct? (You see it at the bottom of the window.)

It is decoded correctly as UTF8 with BOM.
Try it yourself.

Win XP is approaching its end of life cycle, it would be better if you code with Win 7 / win 8 in mind and have if required work around for earlier versions.
