Color list items

Hi Don!!

I was thinking of this for quite sometime now. Here I go:

Apart from the coloring the list items from config's coloring filter, it would be nice to be able to select list items (Folders and files) and set highlight color (not text color). This can be handy to set items for future tasks like burn to disc or move to recycle bin etc. On the flip-side it would mean ini has to remember all the colored files which would bloat XY's size. Do you think it is feasible??

And it would browse slower because every item in the current list must be compared with every item in the highcolor list. This can easily become a lot of work.

Oh ok, its not worth it then. But my need is simple, i want to mark the state of few files/folders for future use. like i said i have some items which i set aside for backup and some for burning to disc and so on. Can you offer a way in which i can mark these items?? For eg. is it possible to provide another column like comments where i can mark the items the way i want?? And ofcourse i should be able to mass mark them and would be nice if these can be made searchable. If possible it would be awesome.
